Minimalism is everywhere as the world attempts to ensure that the lives we lead are simpler ones. Today though that minimal nature hits the gaming scene as Hyperdot launches on Xbox One.

Available to purchase and download right now, Hyperdot on Xbox One comes with a simple, pretty basic premise – dodge everything. You can be sure though that it isn’t as easy as it seems.

Priced at £16.74, Hyperdot on Xbox One delivers not just a handcrafted campaign mode which will see you working your way through more than 100 levels, but the opportunity to create your own stages via the deep level editor that is in place.

Further to that though is the chance to compete in some local cooperative play with up to three others, whilst the inclusion of both high contrast and a colourblind mode should ensure anyone and everyone will be able to enjoy the action; even more so as the brilliant Xbox Adaptive Controller allows for even more immersion.

Features include:

  • CAMPAIGN MODE: Dodge your way through over 100 hand-crafted trials in the single player campaign
  • BETTER WITH FRIENDS: Local co-op play has an easy drop-in/drop-out system that gets up to four players in-game fast
  • LEVEL EDITOR: Create your own one-of-a-kind levels with unlimited possibilities, from dizzying patterns to relentlessly difficult challenges
  • NEVER PLAY THE SAME GAME TWICE: Extensive gameplay customization offers more than 1 million enemy, arena, and modifier combinations
  • PLAY WITHOUT COMPROMISES: HyperDot features high contrast and colorblind modes, full gameplay integration Xbox Adaptive Controller and eye-tracking, and a suite of flexible features for accessibility

Fancy giving this Hyperdot a shot? The Xbox Store will sort you out with a download. We’ll have a full review for you soon too – keep an eye out for it.

Game Description:

HyperDot is a minimal action arcade masterpiece with one rule: dodge everything. Evade enemies and test your skills in over 100 trials in the campaign mode, outlast your friends in multiplayer battles, or build custom challenges with the level editor.
