Dustoff Z takes to the sky this October on Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC

Zombies are everywhere these days, with the likes of Zombie Army 4 and World War Z dominating the gaming world when it comes to taking on hordes of the undead. Developer Invictus Games and publisher Zordix have a rather unique concept up their sleeve though with their zombie offering, Dustoff Z. It’s a helicopter zombie combat game and now we know exactly what date it’ll release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.

On 15th October, we’ll be able to take to the skies in Dustoff Z and witness the world as we know it in ruins. Those damned relentless hordes of the undead have reduced civilization to mere tiny pockets of survivors that are disappearing as each day passes. There’s a single hope left for this world: a brave and daring police helicopter pilot (that’s going to be YOU!) with a knack for machinery. You’ll have to pilot helicopters that have been put together from salvaged vehicles – whether small or large, like retrofitted school buses – and equip them with an array of different zombie-annihilating weaponry. We’re talking real firepower such as machine guns, rocket launchers, buzz saws, tesla coils and more.

Unfortunately, saving the day can’t be done alone. That means hiring shooters to put those weapons to good use, each coming with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. This will, hopefully, enable you to decimate the zombie population, rescue survivors, protect aid-providing convoys, and destroy high-value enemy targets. You can even use your chopper’s winch hook to haul in and collect supplies, place base defenses, haul the corpses of zombies back to your base for analysis. Objects in the environment could also be handy to use as weapons like battering rams as you deftly manoeuvre your helicopter through the decimated cityscapes now overrun by the zombie hordes.

The zombie apocalypse descends on 15th October, when Dustoff Z is set to land on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam). Only then can you save the world and legitimately shout “Get to the choppa!” while doing so.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
