Efootball 2024 gets updated with a new game mode

When Konami made the move from Pro Evolution Soccer to eFootball, they promised that updates would be plentiful. And, to be fair, they’ve kept to their side of the bargain, slowly and surely building out the game to what it is today. And whilst struggles have been apparent, eFootball 2024 sees the brand in its best place yet. But there’s more and today a new update hits eFootball, adding in a new game mode, cooperative building, the chance to participate in log-in mini-games and more.

The big headline with the latest update to eFootball 2024 is the introduction of a new game mode. And before you get too excited, it’s not that of the much requested, hugely anticipated Master League.

My League comes to eFootball

Instead, Konami are found pushing out My League. This is a brand new mode for eFootball 2024, allowing players to make their way through a season of play. It’s here where they will be found going up against the AI, making the most of the Dream Team they have created. Taking the place of a usual incumbent of various leagues, My League looks to be a big focus for eFootball going forward.

Play through things – one season at a time, switching leagues once a year is done – and you’ll be treated to some variations on the usual eFootball process. Weather effects will switch stuff up, new cutscenes will be present and a trophy celebration will be yours if you come out on top. Expect some unique rewards from there on out.

It may not be Master League, but My League should keep you going back to eFootball long term. Especially if you previously got involved with the Leo Messi edition.

Further to that, eFootball 2024 also rewards players for daily log-ins. We think the ‘penalty’ system that comes to the fore with each log-in will be one that provides further excitement for players. It has you going one-on-one with a goalie, slowly working your way through a log-in pathway, again, rewarded for success. Surely it’s worth taking in for the chance to earn some Epic players?

There’s more though. Update 3.2.0 of eFootball 2024 expands the cooperative mode. Now you can join others in order to create and craft some three-person teams. And you can go making the most of emojis in order to communication. At least, if you must.

A new skill?

Konami have got more for you though. A new Skill type comes in the form of Blitz Curler. It’s this which will allow attack-minded players the chance to pull off sharp, controlled shots with vertical rotation when using a player’s dominant foot and using more than 50% on the Power Gauge.

And if you’re interested in the eFootball Championship esports stuff, you may like to know that Konami are pushing out a new eFootball Championship Club Event. This will see users from anywhere in the world able to compete in-game to become the top fan for each of the participating clubs.

Kicking off with online qualifiers for each region, from there all regional winners will congregate for a final to decide who will represent the club in the World Finals.

The esports expansion

The first Club Event is ‘eFootballâ„¢ Championship 2024 FC  Barcelona’. That will begin on Monday 11th December. Throughout the tournament period there will be in-game rewards, such as special edition Big Time cards, as well as club merchandise up for grabs for eFootball and football fans to enjoy!
