What will you rustle up in Escape First Alchemist on Xbox?

Escape Academy should be seen as the premier game in the whole Escape Room genre. But there are a surprising number of other titles vying for that crown. One such series is that of Escape First – and it’s that which today expands with the arrival of Escape First Alchemist on Xbox.

The next iteration of Escape First

Escape First Alchemist is the latest in the Escape First series to come to Xbox. It follows on from Escape First and Escape First 2 which released the best part of a year ago to bring a new take on the escape room ideas.

It’s priced at ÂŁ12.49 and has you playing as the apprentices of Trismegistus; a reclusive sorcerer. You see, it’s up to you to help Trismegistus get free from prison. It’s just this lockup is one of his very own making.

You can go it alone and run single player plans. Or join with others through online cooperative play, the challenge will be found in freeing your master. With use of various ingredients and potion recipes, you’ll be tasked with crafting the powers you need in order to allow for this escape.

As with most escape room games, Escape First Alchemist will require you to make the most of your surroundings. It’ll be an idea to get observiing what goes on, communicating with others. Oh, and making the most of brain power and logic.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
