Are you ready to head deep underground with an RPG in which you will ‘die many times’? Of course you are – and that is where Dungeon and Gravestone comes in.

Available today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4,PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam, Dungeon and Gravestone will have you looking to solve the mysteries found deep underground, as you work your way through constantly changing arenas, secret stages, and past giant monsters.

Priced at £20.99, Dungeon and Gravestone is, on paper, a simple affair – you awake, you explore, you battle and you die. And then you repeat all that over and over again as things mix up the madness. The question you are looking for is whether or not the world you are in can be saved, or if your attempts are all in vain.

Having been created and published by Wonderland Kazakiri, you’ll find Dungeon and Gravestone rocking along the usual digital stores – Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop and the Steam pages on PC. It’s fairly cheap, and looks pretty cheerful, so honestly, if you’re in the market for a new RPG in which – remember – you die many times, this should well be considered.

And if you’re on the fence, keep an eye out for our full review of Dungeon and Gravestone on Xbox as and when we can.

Game Description:

Awakened from deep slumber you found yourself in a city destined to be devoured by Demon King of Death. There was only one road leading outside of it, straight into the dungeon entrance. The gates were open. A terrifying place where blood is steadily sucked out of you and eventually you cannot escape death’s embrace. Is it possible that dungeon changes shape with each dive? Can you challenge the maze with various traps and return safely? Can the world be saved? Dive into dungeons, get items, strengthen your equipment and aim for lower layers. Collect food, complete quests and even fish for your life! Engage in fierce boss battles! Life in the dungeon sure is risky but it’s super fun too! A mysterious world where not only dungeons but even towns change their appearance. You are the one to solve the mystery of the dungeon!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
