Rarely a week goes by without a Ratalaika Games title rocking up onto console, pushed out with a low price point and providing Xbox gamers with the chance to fill their boots with super easy-to-grab Gamerscore and achievements. This week is no different as exploration opportunities arise across the virtual land of Loopindex on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC.
Available to purchase and download right this very minute on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam, Loopindex arrives via the Somepx team, with Ratalaika putting their own little mark on things for good measure.
It’s priced at £4.99 and allows players the chance to go exploring, with virtual uncharted lands full of puzzles and intrigue at the heart of things. It’ll be up to you to work your way through these worlds, either alone or via two-player cooperative means, as you utilise both logic and timing in order to clear each area.
Don’t expect this to be an utter walk in the park though and whilst each stage and level will be chock full of traps and obstacles, the difficulty comes about thanks to the uniqueness of a loop mechanic – we’ll let you find out for yourselves exactly what that does.
Thankfully through the 70 odd levels that are in place, you’ll come across some delightful little virtual robo-pets who are looking for a buddy, and some not so delightful bosses. Expect to make the most of one of them, and fight the other.
We love what Ratalaika have done to the micro/indie gaming scene over the last few years, with them delivering some serious quality (think C14 Dating and Donuts’n’Justice in recent times) in and amongst the sheer quantity they throw out.
