Get your mental mathematical fix with the release of Puzzle by Nikoli W Numberlink on Xbox

Numberlink, ho!

For an extremely brief moment we thought the Puzzle by Nikoli W series of games was mixing things up a bit, adding some colour, some adventure some madness. But then we re-read the title and realised that this doesn’t involve the Numberjacks – our favourite mathematical children’s TV series – and instead has us linking up numbers in ways only Nikoli W can imagine. We’re still intrigued by the release of Puzzle by Nikoli W Numberlink on Xbox though.

Available right now to purchase, download and play through, testing our mental mathematics as we go, is Puzzle by Nikoli W Numberlink on Xbox. It’s the latest in the ever-increasingly lengthy Nikoli W series of games, running a mere £3.99 price point and promising tons of puzzles in return.

Anyone who has dipped their toe into the Puzzle by Nikoli W waters will know what to expect here. This is likely to be a no-frills puzzle affair, one in which numerous puzzles are thrown our way, testing our mental capacities like never before. Don’t expect too much fun though – this is standard puzzle action.

Much like those games that have come before it – the likes of Sudoku, Akari, Masyu and the most recent Puzzle by Nikoli W Shikaku – this latest offering works a number themed grid, tasking you with connecting numbers by not crosssing lines. The rules seem simple enough if we’re honest, and whilst we’re not particularly familiar with how Numberlink works, we’re sure that a few minutes with Puzzle by Nikoli W Numberlink will see that sorted.

We’ll get hands-on with a view to running a review of Puzzle by Nikoli W Numberlink soon. In the meantime, heading to the Xbox Store will allow you the chance to play it for yourself on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Just don’t expect the Numberjacks to help you through this one.

Game Description:

Numberlink is a puzzle where you connect the same numbers without crossing lines. Trust your instinct and get connecting! Keep in mind that the longer the distance, the harder it gets.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
