If you’re looking for a hand-drawn, animated action RPG that just so happens to also deal in a smattering of platforming, then Indivisible is the game for you. Bit of luck then that’s 505 Games and Lab Zero Games have just dropped details on an Xbox One, PS4 and PC launch date, along with some sweet pre-order bonus goodies.

Coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC, both physically and digitally, Indivisible will launch in North America on the 8th October, with a worldwide release taking place a few days later on the 11th October.

Running as a hand-drawn action RPG platformer, Indivisible features some ultra-rare, real-time party fighter mechanics. Spanning a fantastical world with dozens of playable characters, a rich storytelling experience and gameplay that’s easy to learn but difficult to mater, the whole Indivisible tale revolves around Ajna, a good-natured tomboy with a rebellious streak. After being raised by her father on the outskirts of their rural town, her life is thrown into chaos when her home is attacked, and a mysterious power awakens within her.

From here Indivisible provides a huge fantasy world, characters and aesthetics that have been inspired by various cultures and mythologies. Throughout Ajna’s quest, she’ll encounter many “incarnations”; people she can absorb into herself and manifest to fight alongside her. There are many of these to recruit, each with their own story and personality, and by uniting those from faraway lands, Ajna will learn about herself, the world she inhabits and, most importantly, how to save it.

With the launch date now known, 505 have also thrown out a new gameplay trailer, one that further opens the door and invites players into the world, and the story, of Indivisible. Take it in below in order to catch a glimpse of the unique combat, as well as more of Ajna’s beautifully hand-drawn friends, enemies and environments.

If that trailer sells Indivisible to you, then you’ll be happy to know that pre-orders are available now for PC (Steam), giving access to bonus items including Ajna’s lovable pet tapir Roti, which will follow you on the adventure ahead as you go about saving the world of Loka. Further to that, exclusive character skins inspired by other Valve fan-favourite games, as well as a Portal Companion Cube will ensure you are never lonely. Pre-orders for those of us on Xbox One and PS4 will begin soon.

For now though, take in the trailer and let us know what you think of the upcoming launch of Indivisible on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
