2026's Best Games

Do you want to take an interstellar trip to galaxies beyond our own? Do you feel the need to get some Rogue-like elements included? Indie space adventure Everspace may just be what you’ve been waiting for – and it’s out now.

It may have spent months in the Xbox Preview Program, but today sees Everspace gain full release status with update 1.0 out now.

Everspace takes players on a non-linear single player story adventure, offering top-quality visuals and challenging experience to each unique run. With completely new situations arising each time you play, Everspace looks to offer plenty of replayability for players. Death is inevitable on your journey, but in an ever-changing universe, death is just the beginning… unless of course you choose to go all in with the hardcore offering of permadeath. Throughout the game you will need to repair, upgrade, scavenge and kill to survive, but will you be able to last against the superior forces that patrol the galaxy?

Everspace is available to download now on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC through Xbox Play Anywhere for the price of £24.99.
