For many, Kill It With Fire will be their worst nightmare; a game full of spiders, crawling, creeping, jumping and pouncing. But for others it could well be a match made in heaven as they go into battle armed with the most meaty of flamethrower, dishing out a burn or two to any arachnid which dares get in their way.
It doesn’t matter how you go about it, but if it moves, you need to kill it and the best way of doing that is by killing with fire. And that is where tinyBuild’s latest and great comes from as you look to cleanse a world of the most squishy of beasts.
Recently showcased in our Up Next for March 2021 article, present, correct and available to purchase on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and both Android and iOs should you prefer the mobile life, Kill It With Fire is a first person action shooter that is all about one thing – hunting spiders. And then destroying them however you see fit. Okay, maybe that’s two things.
Priced at £12.49 yet discounted slightly from launch, Kill It With Fire is all about dishing out the damage and by dropping into the game world as a licensed exterminator, you’ll need to start proving your worth as you take down all the little critters. And as we all know, the best way to take down any spider that dares step out of line is to grab a glass, and safely put it out of harms way. But obviously that wouldn’t make for much of a game so we reckon tinyBuild have chosen the right path with their fire exterminators! How you go about taking down the spiders in Kill It With Fire matters little – just get rid of the little blighters. To do so you’ll have access to a flamethrower (a standard spider exterminator piece of kit we guess), but also other guns, and stuff that can make the biggest of explosions. You can even utilise some throwing stars, or just squash anything small enough with whatever you find around you.
Hunting the tiniest of spiders is no mean feat though and you’ll thankfully find yourself equipped with some state-of-the-art arachnid tracking technology. Although just going nuts with a flamethrower should also do the trick.
