With DCL – The Game failing to wow the drone fanatics earlier this year, it’s time for LuGus Studios to step forward and unveil Liftoff: Drone Racing as a new contender. Could it be the ultimate, must-have drone simulator for pilots of all skill levels on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 4?

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a seasoned pro or a nervous newcomer when it comes to handling drones, because Liftoff: Drone Racing hopes to help hone your talents to become a top notch drone racing pilot. There’s a full campaign on offer, which will not only teach you the basics and steer you towards the pro competitors, but also delves into the history of drone racing itself. Starting way back in 2015, prepare to take in iconic moments of the FPV drone racing history, whisking you away to the likes of Paris and Hanover. From there you’ll be given the opportunity to make a name for yourself through participation in small races, before getting your chance to shine in the big races.

In order to become the fastest pilot in Liftoff: Drone Racing though, you need to be well prepared. Due to the workbench feature, you will be able to rely on a wide range of different parts to use for your individual racing drone. Through access to this workbench, you will have the option to build and customise your own drones. With 27 officially licensed drone frames and literally hundreds of parts and skins available from several top brands – such as Rotor Riot, Armattan and ImmersionRC – there are thousands of customisation combinations. This enables you to create the drone of your dreams, before heading out to fly on up to 60 race tracks and proving you’re the best drone pilot out there.

Whether you’re looking to improve your skills in the solo modes, or wanting to show off in the multiplayer realm, Liftoff: Drone Racing has you covered. So, if you wish to get your hands on the advanced drone physics, fly over to the Xbox Store – or PS Store – to purchase the standard version for £29.99. There’s also a Deluxe Edition for £34.99, which includes four exclusive skins to use and a Deluxe Upgrade for £4.99 if you prefer to upgrade later down the line. Don’t forget, this will work on the next gen consoles too thanks to backward compatibility.

Game Description:

Become a skilled drone racing pilot in Liftoff: Drone Racing! The game challenges you to start a fast paced from backyard to pro track drone racing pilot career, either solo in the single player or together with others in the online multiplayer mode.
