Loop-de-loop with Forza Horizon 5 and the new Hot Wheels expansion

In our eyes, Forza Horizon 5 is the greatest racing game ever made; a game full of the best cars, finest tunes, most intense races and stupidest of PR stunts. Today though Forza Horizon 5 gets better still, with the integration of the new Hot Wheels expansion.

Forza Horizon 5 is set in some stunning Mexican lands but should you have managed to explore them fully, you’ll no doubt be left wanting more. It’s here where the Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels expansion comes in, delivering the iconic blue and orange track to the skies high above the land of the cactus.

Promising to be the most insane expansion to Forza Horizon yet, Hot Wheels will give you the chance to take in some seriously extreme tracks, loop-de-looping your way through the Mexican skies. There are more than eighty track pieces included in all and that means you’ll be able to go about creating, building and sharing your own masterpieces with ease, snapping them into place without a care.

Three new skybound islands make up the Hot Wheels expansion, with various biomes ensuring that each should bring something new to the table. They are connected via that Hot Wheels track that we know and love, delivering a ton of jumps, tunnels, flips and more to the players who frequent them.

There are cars too – plenty of cars. In fact, with the arrival of the £14.99 Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels expansion you’ll find ten new cars to be yours, with the likes of the 2021 Hennessey Venom F5 sitting in and amongst some Hot Wheels classics. Of course, should you have been partaking in the most recent Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges – following our guides for easy completion – you’ll already have some Hot Wheels motors to hand.

The question is, which cars will you be using on those blue and orange tracks first.

We’ll be following with a full review of Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels in the coming days but certainly expect to be playing this for longer than we did Hot Wheels Unleashed. For now though you can grab the expansion and add it into your base game – a base game which is on Game Pass no less – for £14.99. Alternatively, you’ll find it included in the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition, in the £29.99 Expansions Bundle, or via the £39.99 Premium Add-ons Bundle

DLC Description:
