Macabre Card Deck arrives for Pure Hold’em on Xbox One

Latest Reviews

You wouldn’t usually associate the world of poker with the gruesome and grisly, at least not unless you’ve been chucking hands and cash away at an astonishing rate, but today the world of poker has indeed got something that is pretty damn horrid – the Macabre Card Deck for Pure Hold’em.

Available right now on Xbox One, the latest downloadable content for Pure Hold’em brings you a new pack of cards, and this one is sure to leave your opponents feeling a little uneasy. Priced at just £1.59, this latest content isn’t going to break the bank, but if it can give you an upper-hand in the heat of the battle, then it is good enough for us.

Should you think this is the pack for you, then the Xbox Games Store will be able to sort you out with a download. We advise you to check out our full review of the game on Xbox One too – you can find our thoughts on Ripstone’s poker face bringer on that there link.

Let us know what you think in the comments below.

DLC Description:

Check out these poker faces! Your opponents will be quaking in their seats at the sight of these, giving you the upper hand.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
