Should you be looking for something different from your football games, then Street Power Football certainly looks to provide it. Today the teams at SFL Interactive and Maximum Games have dropped a brand new gameplay trailer that focuses on the Street Power mode, as well as introducing two new balling stars.

Street Power Football – or Street Power Soccer should you be in the North American region – will be releasing on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC come August 25th 2020, and as our preview piece revealed, there will be all manner of different game modes and iconic ambassadors to play. The one we are focused on here and now is that of Street Power, as the game delivers on the superpowers front.

You can take in the latest gameplay trailer that showcases the Street Power mode right below these words, but when you get to go hands-on for yourself should expect to discover more opportunities than you could ever imagine. Street Power mode equips each player with unique superpowers that enhance performance for tricks and scoring in the mode. As each player’s power gauge is filled, these superpowers get activated, letting you pull off air jumps (send your player airborne with a super volley kick), worm holes (create super-fast passing to teleport the ball to your teammate) or shielding (prevent your opponents from stealing the ball from you for a short period of time). Further to that though, Street Power mode is littered with consumables that appear randomly throughout playgrounds and become mobilized when players hit them.

The trailer below shows all of this off, but coming in alongside it are the introductions to two new Street Power Football ambassadors. We already know that the game will feature a premier roster of freestyle, panna, and street soccer global ambassadors, but now we also find “D10” and Issy Hitman getting involved…

  • From Australia: Introducing “D10” Daniel Capellaro — street legend, footballer and coach who specialises in technical skills
  • Here from the Netherlands: We meet street legend and creator of the AKKA 3000 tricks, Issy Hitman

Throw in the likes of Sean Garnier, Liv Cooke, Melody Donchet, Andrew Henderson, Raquel Benetti, Daniel Got Hits, JaviFreestyle, Soufiane Bencok, Aguska Mnich, Michal Rycaj, Yoanna Dallier, Andreas Freestyle, Yo Katsuyama, Kazane Flower Boy Shimazaki, CrisFreestyle, Peter Karasek, Laura Biondo, Boyka Ortiz, Anas Boukami, Ahmed Rakaba, Kristoffer Liicht, and Easyman, and if you’re a fan of the freestyling scene, Street Power Football looks set to deliver.

We’ll be sure to remind you when Street Power Football – or Soccer – hits Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC on August 25th. If you wish to pre-order it ahead of time, you’ll find it on the Xbox Store for £39.99. For now though, enjoy the trailer below.
