Bus Simulator map extension xbox one

Tired of treading the same old routes? Wish that Bus Simulator on Xbox One and PS4 offered a bigger range of roads? You’re in luck as the Official Map Extension arrives.

Available to purchase and download into your game on Xbox One and PS4 right now, the Official Map Extension for Bus Simulator does what it says on the tin, allowing players to challenge their driving skills with the addition of two new city districts, a brand new transportation hub that comes with a rather lovely airport, a ton of new road miles and a whole smattering of challenging missions in Seaside Valley.

Taking what was found in the base version of Bus Simulator, the Official Map Extension now lets us explore a huge previously unexplored area in the southern part of the main game’s map. It is in here where you’ll find numerous new road miles and the two city districts – those of Kerststadt and Sonnstein. While the university district of Kerststadt with its nearby airport is known as the region’s “TechHub”, the idyllic mountain village of Sonnstein counts as one of the most popular tourist attractions for nature lovers in Seaside Valley.

Further to that and players can also look forward to no less than nine new missions, with these tasking you to link the two new districts, the airport and various additional tourist attractions with the city center of the Bus Simulator metropolis Seaside Valley.

The Official Map Extension also includes 20 additional bus stops, but also varied landscapes and a load of really challenging road sections – no more so than the route between Kerststadt International Airport and the mountain village of Sonnstein; expect to find narrow tunnels and tight serpentine curves. As a reward though you will be able to enjoy a whole range of unique panoramic views across the dale and the sprawling urban areas of downtown Seaside Valley.

That’s not all though and the Official Map Extension for Bus Simulator on Xbox One and PS4 will see you unlocking new skins and stickers for your precious bus fleet, all while listening in to a number of new passenger dialogues while driving through the new areas of the town and its surroundings. And if you want to hit up the latest goodies with a mate, then just like the base game the addition pieces can be explored in the multiplayer mode together with up to three other players.

If you wish to get involved and have the base game already in place then the Official Map Extension is available from the Xbox Store for £10.74. You’ll also find it on the PlayStation Store. Keep an eye out for some thoughts covering this expansion too – we’ll be getting behind the wheel and pushing our bus fleet to pastures new at the very earliest opportunity.

And don’t forget, there’s also a MAN Bus Pack available too.
