Are you ready to step into the world of Rainbow High? It’s with Runway Rush on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC in which you’ll find your true colours shining through.
A new colourful world
Available right now across the usual console and PC platforms, is Rainbow High: Runway Rush. It arrives from Outright Games – they recently behind the viral hits of Baby Shark: Sing & Swim Party – as they take the world-leading fasion doll brand and TV series to the virtual gaming scene.
Priced at £34.99 which is very much in line with other Outright Games titles. And it’s playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, fully optimised for those latter consoles. You’ll also find this one on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.
As you’d expect from this family-friendly title, Rainbow High: Runway Rush will see you stepping into the uber colourful world. It has you playing as one of the six original Rainbow High characters – Ruby, Poppy, Sunny, Jade, Skyler, or Violet. From there, your task is to help them take on their first big creative project.
Collectibles? Yep!
Some 21 different locations are available to explore, including recognizable places from the TV series. Expect to see the likes of the majestic Unicorn in the atrium, the Rainbow Union, and Sunny’s bedroom, as players are able to go outside the main story mode to find collectables to level up their characters with unlockable outfits.
Each character also has a mini game that is fully personalized to their unique artistic flair. You’ll be found taking photos with Violet, designing clothes with Skyler, and creating kawaii illustrations with Sunny.
it plays as a puzzle adventure game, allowing fans of the show to be the leading character in the story while they explore the colourful school, solve puzzles, and use their creativity to move to the next level. Runway Rush is suitable for the younger players too, utilising the help of a “hint scan” function, which highlights all the interactive elements of a room’s puzzle and guides them to their next task. This will simplify the navigation and allow fans to play at their own pace, without missing out on the fun.

There are so many places at Rainbow High to find inspiration for our first assignment. Take a tour around the school. Start in the Atrium and check out the majestic unicorn, then catch up on the latest tea with the students in the common rooms. Explore the Residence Corridors, and swing by Sunny’s bedroom as you make your way to the Student Lounge, where you can play video games or take some great selfies. Head over to the Rainbow Union, up to the first floor to find fun materials in the Fabric Studio, and more.
