Having picked up mucho acclaim since launch back in 2021, it’s time to consider heading back to Tales of Arise once more. Why? Well, we’re going Beyond the Dawn.
From Bandai Namco and available today – read: now – on Xbox, PlayStation and PC is Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn.
Go Beyond the Dawn
An expansion to the base game, Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn’s story takes place a year after the events of Tales of Arise. It focuses on Alphen and his companions as they live in a merged world, caught between being the Liberating Heroes of Dahna at the same time than being the Destroyers of Rights by Renans.
With a strong division between the two populations that now must share the same world, the Six meet the enigmatic Nazamil, a powerful young girl who is the daughter of a Renan lord and a Dahnan slave. They will have to protect her and will bond with her through their journey to bring peace to the world.
If you enjoyed the base game, the Beyond the Dawn feels like a perfect reason to get back on that horse. And if you haven’t previously played the game, let our review – 4.5/5 score – fill you in.
“Tales of Arise is great at almost everything it attempts, but it does just falls short of having the wow factor and possesses a couple of niggling factors to boot. Nevertheless it’s absolutely worth picking up if you’re after an action-RPG to sink a load of hours into.”
Multiple options!
To get access, you have a few options, pretty much depending on whether you have the base game already. There’s the Tales of Arise base game sitting in Cross-Gen version for £34.99. From there, the Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition sits at £49.99 (base game and expansion) whilst the Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Deluxe Edition is £69.99, adding in a Character Costume Pack, Travel Pack and Starter Pack too.
Further, Tales of Arise – Beyond The Dawn Ultimate Edition will cost you £89.99. That is found chucking an absolute ton of new costume sets in for good measure.
And then there’s the Tales of Arise + SCARLET NEXUS Bundle for £84.99. This combines two games into one. It’s well worth a consideration.
Further to all this comes the soundtrack to the expansion. You’ll find that kicking around and available on major streaming platforms
Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. The main game is required to play the expansion. Let us know your thoughts. The comments are below.
