Become a little froggy hero

Quick! Your grandfather has been out catching flies again, but has been bitten by a poisonous carnivorous plant, leaving him on death’s door. You must hop, skip and jump across the forest in order to save him in Sapu on Xbox. It comes from developers Guara Studios, and in case we haven’t made it clear, Sapu and his grandfather are frogs!

A Froggy Endeavour Awaits in Sapu on Xbox

Sapu on Xbox is available right now, following a launch on PC earlier this year. This is sold as a colourful platformer with our frog protagonist right at the centre of the action. Sapu has a pretty simple moveset – a walk, jump, double jump and dash is all you require. This should well mean that players of all abilities can enjoy this friendly adventure.

Sure, Sapu may be no Sonic, but for those seeking an entry-level platformer for little ones to get involved in, this is a good bet. The challenge will ramp up, however, throwing a ton of spikes to avoid, mushrooms to bounce off of, and a number of flies to collect along the way.

Key Features

  • Sapu is a 2D platform game with pixelart style graphics
  • A 1 player adventure
  • The game has 25 stages

Game Description

Sapu is a young frog who lives in the frog village located in the frog forest. On a beautiful Tuesday afternoon Sapu is awakened by other villagers, informing him that his grandfather had been bitten by a poisonous carnivorous plant while catching fireflies for dinner, and that he was on the brink of death. Sapu despairs but soon has an idea of how to save his grandfather and goes on an adventure in the forest.

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
