It’s time for a slightly more modern take on a Wolfenstein adventure as the latest iteration takes us to an alternate reality version of Paris in the ‘80s. Forget playing as BJ Blazkowicz, as his kickass twin daughters take the limelight for some co-op action in Wolfenstein: Youngblood. And they’re gunning for those darn Nazis!
The infamous BJ Blazkowicz, hero of the second American Revolution, has gone missing. Set nineteen years after the events of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, BJ disappeared after a mission that saw him venture into Nazi-occupied Paris. Now, after years of training and guidance from their battle-hardened father, BJ’s twin daughters Jess and Soph are subsequently forced into action. Get ready to team up with a new cast of freedom fighters and brave the unsettling sights and sounds of a twisted, alternate reality 1980s Paris.
Team up with a friend or play alone alongside an AI companion and perform new tag team manoeuvres, crank up the voltage with the devastatingly powerful new co-op weapon, the Tesla Gun, and show off your flair with skins and emotes. Wolfenstein: Youngblood is arguably the most open-ended Wolfenstein experience to date as you plan how and when to attack and dismantle the Nazi regime from a new base of operations, which is located deep in the heart of the Paris catacombs.
Partaking in the no-nonsense decimation of Nazis will set you back £24.99 on Xbox One via the Xbox Store – also available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. But do remember, Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a co-op experience and so it’s worth checking out the Deluxe Edition for £34.99 because it includes the Buddy Pass, allowing you and a friend to play the entire game together – without them even owning the game.
