Now the wizarding magic of the Harry Potter universe is being opened up to a whole new branch of gamers, with the release of Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox One and PS4.
It comes about to go following an incredibly warm reception to the Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC release of the game this February. Such a story will have you creating your own student, enrolling into Hogwarts at the beginning of the fifth year of study. Whilst you have a lot of catching up to do – learning all manner of spells and the like – it’s in fact before even arriving at the school that you get caught up in a grand conspiracy, with evil goblin Ranrok attempting to seize the region for himself. The rest? Well, you’ll just have to find out for yourself!
Boasting impressive visuals even on last-gen consoles (seriously, every time we boot up the game, we are amazed by the intricate inner mechanics of the school, as well as the sprawling forests and coasts of the wider open world), soon enough you will immersed in every facet of life in Hogwarts. Whether it’s potion-making, catching up with classmates, or perfecting your own Room of Requirement, there is something to do around every corner.
