Playing as The Commander, commissioned by the Dragoness to bring peace to this war-torn land, the 16-quest, 30+ hour main campaign will have you venturing across multiple environments, engaging in intricate grid-based combat.
By journeying across the land, completing side quests as you go, you’ll pick up a range of resources, as well as new members to add to your party. Your party will consist of many beasts, each with their own unique abilities and traits. Don’t forget to upgrade your own home base, to unlock even more combat opportunities!

The Dragoness: Command of the Flame on Xbox, PlayStation and PC is available now. It’s playable on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4 and PC. You won’t be able to play The Dragoness on Xbox One though.
If you are a tactics fan on Xbox, then make sure to check this one out for £16.99 via the Xbox Store. Although strangely, there are two Xbox Store pages for this one; one of which sees a little launch discount in place drop the price down a little. We know which one we’ll be buying.

Game Description
A HOMM-inspired adventure with a roguelite twist. Embark on an epic quest across the Drairthir Peninsula – a land ravaged by warring factions of Dragons. You take on the role of The Commander, a promising Elven warrior recruited by The Dragoness to lead her armies and bring peace to the land.
After the old capital city of Voven Sal was lost in a climactic battle with the covetous Shai-Va, you will need to rebuild and gather your forces at the Dragoness’ new seat of power, Níwenborh.
Journey across the peninsula to recruit powerful beasts, gather precious resources, and prepare for the dangers that lie ahead. Only through keen strategic thinking and tactical prowess will you emerge victorious.
