Yes, yes they have – and Demetrios’ humour will have you in fits of giggles while journeying through Bjorn’s tale.
While it is a point and click adventure at heart, Demetrios – The BIG Cynical Adventure borrows elements from other titles such as Phoenix Wright and Discworld to craft its gameplay and create its own unique, quite silly at times, style. Expect plenty of stupid, childish jokes across over 15,000 lines of dialog as you have a good chuckle during the estimated 8-12 hour playtime.
You will also be found encountering plenty of fun mini-games throughout the story, as you help Bjorn along on his quest. Hidden cookies are at hand and will need to be found – at least if you wish to be provided with hints and a helping hand in order to get past a particularly tricky section.
So, if you are looking for a point and click adventure crossed with a visual novel game on Xbox One – one that doesn’t take itself too seriously, would prefer a lovely hand-drawn art-style and want plenty of humor to go around, why not help out Bjorn on his quest… because judging by his intelligence level he is gonna need it!
