It’s a busy old day in the gaming scene, with new game launches and DLC drops galore. But when that DLC comes for free, it makes it all the more enticing. That’s the case with Blue Fire’s Void of Sorrows DLC – as it brings a new set of challenges for absolutely no additional cost.
The base experience of Blue Fire launched on Xbox, PC and Switch back in July, with our review covering it rather favourably. Talking about a dark, dingy world that was ripe for exploration, game mechanics that allowed for slick platforming and combat, and a ton of upgrades that made you ridiculously overpowered, we loved what Graffiti Games delivered. Yes there were times that it dipped a little in quality (final third, we’re looking at you), but on the whole it was a hell of a playthrough.
Now though it’s time to put your platforming skills to the test again as Graffiti Games and Robi Studios release the Void of Sorrows DLC. It’s available today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Switch, with a drop onto PlayStation and Google Stadia to come soon.
But what does it bring? Well, for free, the Void of Sorrows DLC features two new areas with a new boss and 16 Voids, which are levels filled with abstract platforming challenges that require great mastery to complete. Expect around 5 hours of extra gameplay to be included in all, with new and exclusive tunics, additional cutscenes and a bit of a plot twist all thrown in for good measure.

Hello! I have received yesterday on my Xbox series X an update for Blue Fire, I checked the news and learned that there were a new expansion for the game: Void of Sorrows. However, I don’t find any new area, in “warp” I find a new slot marked with “???”, there are new Void slots and new quests, but where are they? Thanks
go to the fire keep shrine and keep going straight until u get to the big door. open the door and go straight to the big door in the room. the dlc is right behind that big door
