Depending on your age, you may just know about Battle Garegga. You see, back in 1996 it was widely recognised as delivering the best arcade shoot em up action of the day. Now though Battle Garegga is back, and Rev.2016 promises to bring back a ton of memories.
Available to purchase and download on Xbox One, Battle Garegga Rev.2016 is a recrafted version of the classic arcade shoot em up. Priced at $34.99, it’s not one of those cheap and cheerful remasters either – this is a game that will please both the most devoted of fans, and those who never experienced Garegga the first time round.
There are a few slight changes to the formula though and brand new game modes, multiple soundtracks and an online score ranking should please many. With more than eight aircraft to enjoy, and a Rank system that delivers secrets at every turn, if you’re after a shoot em up, then you could do worse than grab this.
