The Final Transmission plays out in The Callisto Protocol

We would suspect that Striking Distance Studios and KRAFTON had hoped for a bigger impact from The Callisto Protocol. But no matter your thoughts on the subject, it’s now time for the Final Transmission to play out. 

Available right now, The Callisto Protocol – Final Transmission is the latest in a series of DLC packs to have hit the game. We’re well past working through the base game from back in December. And we’ve navigated the horrors in style with numerous other expansions. Now it’s time to take in the Final Transmission. 

The Final Transmission?

Priced up at £12.49 from the Xbox Store, this is a beefy addition to The Callisto Protocol. It’s also part of the Season Pass of the game, so if you have that, you are well sorted. 

The Callisto Protocol Final Transmission builds out the story beats found within. In fact, it lets you dig deeper into The Callisto Protocol than ever before. What will you find if you open the wallet and splash the cash needed for access? Well, we’d suspect some of the most horrifying of secrets. 

Building on The Callisto Protocol

It’s that which The Callisto Protocol has played on since day one; even if it didn’t neccessarily wow the crowds upon release. See, we enjoyed what we played, dropping a 3.5/5 review score onto The Callisto Protocol on Xbox Series X|S. But unfortunately for Striking Distance, there was the little matter of a Dead Space reboot right around the corner. 

That didn’t stop us in a bit of praise though. “Many of the elements in The Callisto Protocol are fine without anything really standing out, but you may still want to wait until that Dead Space Remake comes out.“
