You may not have heard of Roboquest, but that all changes from today as the RyseUp Studios team detail the fast-paced FPS roguelite as an Xbox Game Pass exclusive title.

Due to hit Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows soon, Roboquest takes us off to the year 2700; a year in which climate change and wars have changed the world as we know it. It’s here where we join Max, a young girl scavenging the lands in hope of surviving the vast landscapes; just like all the other humans.

Very soon though Max stumbles upon an old Guardian robot, one that has been left lying abandoned. But as she switches this Guardian on, breathing new life into the bot, the unlikely pair begin to traverse the lands as a duo, searching for answers to the mysteries of the world. This takes them through dangerous canyons, to the most vast of cities and up against the evil badbots and their paymasters. Bots get paid yeah?!

Sold by RyseUp Studios as a fast-paced FPS roguelite game that will exclusively be hitting Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows, in Roboquest you will want to think fast, and shoot faster. With the steel shoes of a high-powered, hyper-mobile robot yours to control, the chance to wreak havoc on evil bots and to battle your way through procedurally generated biomes on an unrecognizable earth all play out.

And as you would expect to hear, as progression is made, secrets will be unearthed, abilities will be upgraded and customisations for both your characters and your basecamp home will take place. With full cross-platform play in two, and a high-octane soundtrack composed by Noisecream helping you pound your way through the madness, there should be much excitement about the launch of Roboquest as an Xbox exclusive title.

Give the trailer below a watch and let us know your thoughts.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
