Zombie Army 4 is the zombie-slaying gift that just keep giving. After first launching to some rather critical acclaim, the game has continued to go from strength to strength since, building out with multiple seasons’ worth of content. Today it expands once more, updated and enhanced with five new DLC packs – including a bit of a Strange Brigade crossover.
Present and correct, ready to purchase and download from the relevant digital store right now are no less than five new downloadable content packs for Zombie Army 4: Dead War.
These follow on nicely from a similar number that released at the back end of September, it’s just this time around they deliver something altogether different.
For us it’s the Strange Brigade Headgear Pack which is of most interest, as Rebellion mix and merge their two IPs with considerable effect. The headgear pack costs £2.49 and will see players given the opportunity to go zombie killing with new arcane artifacts attached. These come in the form of a Mummy Head Mask, a Bull Mask, the Assassin’s Death Mask and Seteki Headdress. If you’re a fan of Strange Brigade and love a bit of Zombie Army, it’s a bit of a no-brainer to grab.
Additionally there is the Occult Karl Outfit. Again priced at £2.49, this brings a new costume for Karl (that of the Occult costume, obviously), plus a couple of new hats. Further to that is the Bandages Weapon Skins Pack for the same price, adding in no less than 11 Bandages skins for your favourite pieces of arsenal, along with the Tarot Charm Pack too – four new charms can be yours.
Rounding things out is the slightly more expensive Zombie Army 4 Blowtorch Weapon Bundle. This one comes in at a massive £3.29 (okay, not massive), and gives players the opportunity to go wielding a Blowtorch, along with a couple of Charms and two new Weapon skins. And if you can’t go burning your zombies to a crisp, are you even a zombie hunter?
It goes without saying that you’ll need the base game of Zombie Army 4: Dead War to hand in order to enjoy these new content packs. You’ll find that available and playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC.
But you really should have that in your digital library already.
