Achilles Legends Untold is on Xbox, PlayStation and PC

You’ve probably heard of Achilles: Legends Untold. After all, it’s been sat in Early Access on Steam for over a year, honing its skills, readying itself for battle. And that battle arrives now, as Achilles: Legends Untold launches for real onto Xbox, PlayStation and PC, ditching the Early Access vibes as it goes.

Available right now as a full game is Achilles: Legends Untold. It’s playable across new gen consoles – Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 – as well as on PC. What awaits is one hell of an epic quest…

A new epic quest

From the Dark Point Games team, Achilles: Legends Untold has been working the wonders of Early Access since mid-2022. It’s there in which the devs have had the chance to take on community feedback to ensure that this full launch is as good as it can be. When you consider the premise, we’re not sure there’s too much that can hold it back.

In Achilles: Legends Untold you’ll get to explore the world of Ancient Greece. As you may suspect, you’ll do that as the most fearless of warriors – Achilles. From there, the world is your oyster, allowing you to involve yourself in brutal combat, creating your own tactical and strategic flair as you go.

The world is open for exploration too. And multiple challenges will await those who delve deep. With an RPG progression system in play, a multilayered narrative kicking along and more, in Achilles: Legends Untold you’ll be left to save the mortal world from impending doom.

Solo only on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, if you take to Achilles: Legends Untold on PC you’ll also find a horde-like mode, available to play with friends. We’re expecting to see this launch on console at a later point, but we can’t help but feel it would have been better for full PC/console parity. But hey, who are we to judge when Dark Point Games are giving us such a world to enjoy.

Features to include

Achilles: Legends Untold should keep you going for some twenty hours or so, with the key features plentiful…

  • Action RPG with souls-like combat style.
  • A variety of enemies to battle, each with a distinct combat pattern.
  • Weapons, items, and skills that offer a unique playstyle.
  • An open world ready for exploration.
  • Over 20 hours of gameplay.
  • A proprietary GAIA (Group AI Action) system that governs AI cooperation within the environment.

“It is a very exciting day for all of us at Dark Point Games,” says Paweł Waszak, CEO. “We set out on this adventure years ago to create our first game, and we’re now ready to let you all start an adventure of your own with Achilles. The great community of players who played and supported us since our Early Access launch has helped us immensely to write the definitive chapter for our story.”
