Celebrate Messi’s Ballon d’Or crowning with in-game eFootball events

-

eFootball 2024 Big Time Messi
Which Messi will you be?

The greatest ever? There’s no doubt he’s right up there, but wherever you rate Lionel Messi in the greats of football, there’s no denying the impact he has had on the beautiful game. And today you can see that greatness for yourself as Konami and eFootball players get to celebrate Messi’s latest Ballon d’Or crowning.

Which version of Messi do you prefer?

Available from today in eFootball are no less than three different versions of Lionel Messi, all for you to collect. They go about celebrating some of the little Argentine’s most special moments, from a career that has seen everything.

It comes on the back of Leo grabbing another Ballon d’Or award in recent days, proving himself. Like it needed proving! – as one of the finest footballers to have ever taken to the pitch. Eight times a Ballon d’Or winner? Yeah, that’s some going.

In-game, Konami and eFootball are pushing that with a number of versions of the great man.

Players can collect these versions of Lionel Messi – all of which will include the addition of the booster feature. As well as a log-in present of Argentina National Team Messi, available until early 2024.

All the rewards!

You’ll also be able to take in the ‘Golden Achievement’ event, making the most of Messi in order to complete various challenges. There will also be a ‘Leo Meter’, where Konami will be found monitoring how many goals are scored by users using him in the campaign. The more goals scored, the greater the rewards given!

With eFootball 2024 totally free to play across Xbox, PlayStation, PC and mobile, there’s no reason to not get involved in the new Messi celebrations. Grab a download of the game from the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
