If you’re looking for an entry level mobile controller to help you out with the likes of Game Pass and Cloud Gaming, the GameSir X2s Type-C Mobile Controller is okay
There are multiple ways to play Xbox games. You can run the usual everyday console route, making the most of Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. You can play via PC, utilising the ultimate power of keyboard and mouse. And you can also play on your mobile device, thanks to the combination of Project xCloud, mobile gaming and Xbox Game Pass. It is here where the GAMESIR X2 Type-C Mobile Gaming Controller comes in.
They may not be perfect for an Xbox gamer, and EPOS really do need to take a leaf out of SteelSeries' book to ensure that the GTW 270s work straight out of every console box, but should you be looking for superb gaming sound whilst on the go, or a great little alternative to your usual white buds, these should be on your list.
For less than half the price of a brand new AAA game, the Gioteck TX50 Premium Stereo Gaming Headset is a multi-platform gaming headset worth a little consideration.
Should you be a fan of what ASTRO Gaming have delivered in the past, then the Gen-2 A20 Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox should certainly be one to consider.
£90 may seem a lot of money for EPOS | SENNHEISER’s baby headset - and I’d still try and find the extra cash for a purchase of the GSP 602 - but if you find the GSP 300 within your budget, this is 100% a headset to consider.
What Trust have done with the GXT 310 Radius must in a weird way be commended: coming to a heaving market with a multi-format headset that costs less than £20 deserves some kind of mention. Unfortunately that headset is so lacking in features, comfort and quality, that aside from being seen as a ‘my first gaming headset’ for the very youngest of gamers, it should probably be dismissed from any wishlist immediately.
Coming in alongside the behemoth that is Xbox Series X, is the smaller, more delicate, more petite Xbox Series S - a glorious looking, proper all-digital Xbox. And you know what, it’s pretty much the perfect console. For a second room. For now.
The Xbox Series X feels a bit like a caged animal: a nice addition to look at, but when that gate finally opens with true next-gen games it will really fly out of the traps and show us what it has been capable of this whole time.
The Arctis 7X for Xbox has been extremely impressive. It’s taken what I already loved in the Arctis 1 and just upped things enough to warrant the increase in price. It’s extremely comfortable to wear, delivers a sound quality to die for and provides super clear chat via the Discord-certified mic. Throw in the versatility found via that USB-C'd wireless dongle and there’s not much more you could ask for from SteelSeries.
So, the EPOS | SENNHEISER GSP 500 headset. Is it worth a look? Yes, by all means you’ll want to put this on your consideration list for when you next go headset shopping, and if you like the feel, look and sounds produced by the open-back cups, you’re going to be well sorted.
Whilst it may seem a high price to pay for a headset that on the face of it does without any clever gimmicks, the build quality, sound quality and fitting ensure that EPOS | SENNHEISER have brought a top-notch wired headset to market with the GSP 602. If you’re a fan of the brand and don’t fancy cutting the cable just yet, this is a gaming headset to seriously consider purchasing.
If you really can’t stomach paying more than a ton for a gaming headset, and have the budget required in order to grab the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2, then you’ll be more than happy with what it brings - after-all, Turtle Beach rarely make duds. But you may just be left with the nagging feeling you wish you’d gone one step further.
The Lightning Bolt 360 is GUNNAR’s latest generation of elite gaming glasses; glasses that bring together all manner of technology to improve your gaming performance, reduce any digital eye strain, minimize screen glare and prevent dry eyes. Most importantly though, the Lightning Bolt 360 is able to block out that artificial blue light we hear so much of, and that in turn should allow for a better sleep pattern. And I don't know about you, but from where I'm sitting, sleep is a good thing.
