Available to purchase, download and play right now, either continuing your love for the Azure Striker GUNVOLT titles or dropping in green, is the latest in a series of games – Azure Striker GUNVOLT 3.
Playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S thanks to an Xbox Store download, Azure Striker GUNVOLT 3 follows on from the original Azure Striker GUNVOLT and then the follow-up, Azure Striker GUNVOLT 2, to provide a ton more sci-fi shooting action.
Azure Striker GUNVOLT 3 is priced at £23.39, so fairly hefty in the grand scheme of things, but it will let you get involved in some seriously neat high-speed action. A game that promises to be the most extravagant addition to the series yet – you’d hope so for the third game, eh!? – GUNVOLT 3 combines narrative and gameplay as one, as you take on the role of Kirin alongside the series protagonist Gunvolt, switching between them and utilising their various abilities and skills as you go.
A game full of light-speed superpowers, it’s the Story mode of Azure Striker GUNVOLT 3 which will probably be of most interest. Full of levels and big bosses, this is going to keep you going for some decent time, as you battle your way through what it attempts to tell. When you include the fact that you’ll have a ton of collectibles to grab too, with more than 150 different types to hunt down, Azure Striker GUNVOLT 3 should be a game that keeps on delivering.
