Over the course of the last month, Xbox gamers have been treated to some decent freebies – and thanks to the Games With Gold scheme for July 2022, they’ll find similar gifts awaiting them over the next few weeks too.

The Xbox Games With Gold scheme for July 2022 is looking very tasty indeed, with four more games being thrust under the noses of Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players, all with zero price tag attached. What this means is that throughout the month of July – and in the case of one game, beyond – as long as an Xbox Live Gold subscription is to hand, Xbox players will be able to access and play, free-of-charge, all of the following titles.

Granted, we’re not finding any AAA titles included this month, but should you be looking to spend some time in the indie scene and don’t fancy dropping any cold cash, you could do worse than download the following…

These four games come on the back of June’s freebies which contained the likes of Aven Colony and Super Meat Boy amongst others. And with the imminent arrival of July’s GWG freebies, you should ensure that you’ve grabbed the free love from the month of June already. If not, the price of those games will be going back up in the not too distant future.

You’ll find that both Beasts of Maravilla Island and Thrillville will be stripped down to zero in the coming days, whilst Relicta and Torchlight will go free at some point around the 15th July – we’ll be sure to remind you when those two drop in price.

Until that time, let us know your thoughts concerning the Games With Gold scheme and the free games coming your way throughout July 2022. We fully understand that many may be disappointed not to see some bigger names included, but that’s what we’ve got the power of Game Pass for, eh!?

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
