Get ready to rumble with Crash Team Rumble

Whilst the zany, cheeky, mischievous Crash Bandicoot isn’t tied exclusively to the blue side of the console war anymore, his antics remain as fun as ever. Whether he is sticking to the classic platforming offered up by the likes of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, or burning rubber in Crash Team Racing, the cartoony chaos on offer is a joy to behold. Now, Crash and co enter the fighting scene with Crash Team Rumble on Xbox and PlayStation.

N.Sane Battles

Crash Team Rumble – releasing today on Xbox and PlayStation platforms – is a 4v4 brawler set across expansive maps, which sees your team attempt to collect more Wumpa fruit than your opposition: fill up the Wumpa Bank and victory is yours. It’s that simple.

Well, throw in a N.Sane amount of unique heroes that you can play as, and soon that simplicity turns into a strategic bout of wits, as you synergise between team-mates. Do the faster characters like the titular bandicoot make a bee-line for the fruit around you, and perhaps enter enemy territory to steal some of theirs? Or do the tankier brutes like Dingodile hang back, and ensure that no enemies make it past and steal your hard-earned fruit?

Each of the wacky cast of characters has a suite of unique abilities that make them suited to different situations.

Check out our Preview

Our recent preview found Crash Team Rumble on Xbox and PlayStation to be a very fun, very frantic affair, set across a variety of maps that were surprisingly large given the 4v4 nature of the game.

With the addition of special platforms that grant you a boost to the amount of Wumpa you can carry at once, the game initially seems to be one that will be calling you back for more.

This certainly is not a one and done type affair, and with the promise of the all-too-familiar Battle Pass in the veins, the option for progression is there.

Game Description

Get ready to dash, jump, slide, and bounce into an all-new way to Crash.

Crash Team Rumbleâ„¢ takes Crash Bandicootâ„¢ in a brand new direction, placing the series’ iconic heroes and villains into a 4v4 team-based competition. Players will duke it out across diverse and dangerous maps as both teams race to be the first team to collect and bank enough Wumpa fruit to claim victory! I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
