Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines prepares for August launch on Xbox, Switch, PC

Remember Grapple Dog? We LOVED Grapple Dog as he swung his way to Xbox back in 2022. Very soon we’ll have the chance to partake in some more swinging, as Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines releases on Xbox, Switch and PC. 

If you think of yourself as some kind of canine cosmonaut, then you’ll want to keep an eye out for Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines. It’s the nest game from Medallion Games and Super Rare Originals as they bring the sequel to the brilliant original Grapple Dog to Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. They’ll be doing so come August 15th 2024. 

A couple of adorable pups

Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines will see Pablo and Luna come to the fore. A pair of the most intrepid of pups, you’ll need to help these little ones swing, bounce and blast their way through interdimensional landscapes on a mission to save the cosmos!

And much like in the first game, that means taking on action-packed levels, challenging puzzles, and adorable canine capers in a super vibrant and unforgettable adventure.

Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines will feature challenging platforming action, as a game full of innovative twists and fresh abilities comes to the fore. Expect to be fire-dashing and pulling off magnetic grabs, as Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines allows players to propel themselves through a menagerie of breath-taking pixel-art landscapes with exhilarating speed and control.

Plenty of secrets

And if you played the original, you’ll know that you are in for a doggy treat with this one – every world is brimming with new and unique levels, hidden collectibles and secret areas to uncover, providing surprises across the galaxies.

This time around players can sharpen their claws with two pawsome ways to play! Players who love to swing and sling will want to join pupper Pablo, as he returns with his trusty hook and acrobatic grappling skills ready to zip to new heights. But if a bit of shoot-first, think-later vibes are more your thing then the gunslinging of newcomer Luna and their arsenal of weaponry will add a thrilling new combat mechanic to the mix.

There will be a Time Trial mode for an added challenge, racing against the clock, whilst memorable boss battles introduce epic canine combatants and unforgettable showdowns for the interdimensional pups, as they swing, shoot, explore and wag their tails for the ultimate canine adventure!
