Wildmender Key Art
Wildmender is on Xbox

From the must humble of beginnings, you’ll be tasked with growing and surviving in Wildmender. And you’ll be able to do it on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 or PC.

Available right now on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms is Wildmender. It comes from Muse Games (they previously behind Embr) and Kwalee, as they task you to make what you will in a desert land. It’s this world that is being destroyed, and it’s up to you to save it, taking a small water spring and beginning your journey.

A land rich for reaping

Cultivating the land around you, you’ll look to repopulate this deserted world, grabbing food, water, tools and more as you go. You’ll also need to push back the powers of the wraiths, attempting to get a handle on the secrets behind their race – and why they are corrupting your homeland.

Gardening, survival, combat – there’s much going on in Wildmender. But this is very much a game that will just let you get on and enjoy the moments you WANT to enjoy, ignoring other elements for a more relaxing vibes if need be. But no matter how you go about it, you can expect some big ideas and even bigger pieces of content.

There’s even a Peaceful Mode you can switch on if you like. Just head into the menus.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
