Rule Australia in AFL 23 on Xbox consoles

Coinciding with the release of another notable football game (hint, it’s from EA!), is Big Ant Studios’ take on the world of Australian Rules football. Whether you are an Aussie Rules novice, or veteran of the sport down under, AFL 23 on Xbox promises to bring new strides to the formula.

On Xbox… Finally!

After many months of waiting since the original PC and PlayStation release in May of this year, it is now the time for Xbox gamers to get their hands on AFL 23. 

This is available now on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. And it’ll let you experience every nuance of one of the most complex sports on Earth. Every flying tackle, bounce of the ball, and tactical shouts are faithfully recreated in the latest instalment in the series. As are, of course, the thousands of players that are found within the AFL and AFLW competitions.

Returning players may be most excited by the inclusion of AFL’s new Pro Team mode. Acting much like Ultimate Team in FIFA, or MyTEAM from NBA2K, this mode allows players to create their own star-studded roster of players, each with their own cards and attributes to enjoy. Champion Data is behind the game’s ability to capture the unique skills and traits of the game’s greatest players.

AFL Architects

Fancy yourself as a bit of a designer? Well, why not show off your own clubs, players and stadiums in AFL 23’s Academy Tools. This can be a welcome break from the on-pitch action, as the pace slows down to allow you to create the club of your dreams.
