From Moonloop and Firestoke is a creative little indie adventure – Hauntii. And it’s playable on Game Pass, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.
A haunting experience
We’ve had eyes on Hauntii for about a year now, but in case you’ve never heard of the game, listen up. This is a game that lets you take control of not just the environment around you, but the inhabitants that call the place home, utilising special abilities from all in order to overcome some clever puzzles. It does so with a creative little haunting mechanic, as Hauntii tasks you with getting involved in a variety of things – some puzzle solving, some twin-stick shooting, a smattering of exploration.
The thing is, whilst that all sounds great, for us it’s the visual look of Hauntii that most excites. Moonloop and Firestoke sell this as balancing cosyness, mystery and melancholy. We’d tend to agree.
However you take in this adventure, whether that be through the power of Game Pass, or as a more standard purchase on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Switch or PC, we’re pretty sure it’s going to appeal. Stay tuned for our upcoming review – it’ll confirm those things, one way or the other.

You can download Hauntii from the Xbox Store for £16.99, playing it on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. There’s also Xbox Play Anywhere support in house for this so you can take it across to PC too. Of course, if you have a Game Pass sub, no further cash needs to move from your wallet either – just grab it through there.
