The Kingdom has fallen in Ambition Record

-

Ambition Record Xbox

Another day, another KEMCO. However, after RPGolf Legends tried to mix things up a bit for the RPG machine, their latest release looks to revert back to their bread and butter. Ambition Record releases today on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.

An uprising has begun in rebellion of the king. Count Balthazar has claimed the northern lands of the kingdom no longer fall under the king’s jurisdiction. To further bolster those claims, he has absorbed the soul of the King Dragon into his own body. It is certainly a statement.

Naturally, the king retaliates by mobilising his forces and hiring mercenaries. You control a band of those mercenaries who can also utilise the power of dragons by unlocking Dragonstones. Can you bring the lands back together before a full civil war breaks out?

A JRPG in every sense of the word, Ambition Record features turn-based battles, an overworld and 3D sprites. But this being a KEMCO game, you already knew that, right?

Ambition Record is available to download now priced at £12.49 on the Xbox Store. And if you want to make your time with the game a little bit easier, there are several DLC packs also available. The Experience x3 booster is priced at £4.19, No Encounters is £1.69 and Full Restore is there for £3.29. This works after every single encounter and isn’t just a one-time thing. Finally, there is a Damage x2 booster also priced at £4.19. Purchase all these and you will have yourself a right little walking tank that can brush aside absolutely anyone.

We will have a review coming soon so you can see how it stacks against the other KEMCO titles. For now, let us know in the comments which has been your favourite title so far.

Game description

The count who rules the northern part of the kingdom has used forbidden, secret arts, and raised the flag of rebellion against his king. Rafael takes up his sword on the orders of the king, to suppress the revolt. But then, the chancellor, who should be at the core of the king’s court, starts to act in an incomprehensible way. Beliefs and ambition clash fiercely in the unexpected twists and turns of battle! Fortify characters with the power of the dragons to fight turn-based battles! Create your own party by exploiting the job change system and customizing weapons and armor as you like!
