There is no debate – Forza Horizon 4 is the most thrilling, most exciting, most open-world racer available on Xbox One. In fact, it’s probably the leader of the racing genre as a whole. And part of what makes it so good is the wide roster of cars that are available in game – a roster that has today expanded once more with the arrival of 11 new vehicles across the Any Terrain and British Sports Car DLC packs.
In place and available for Forza Horizon 4 players to enjoy, the latest car pack additions to the game deliver all manner of goodies, with the Any Terrain Car Pack and the British Sports Cars Car Pack ensuring that another 11 vehicles are now ready for action.
Following on from the multitude of previous DLC drops that have hit the game since it first launched back in 2018 – read our full review of the base game here – and the likes of the LEGO Speed Champions expansion, if you’re looking for some new rough and ready motors to ensure that your opponents are left in your dust, these are more than viable options.
The Any Terrain Car Pack will set you back £8.39 (with a little discount should you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription) and it is this which will let you become one with the mud. It includes a smattering of Rally Cars, UTVs and SUVs that have been put in place to ensure that your off-roading hits the limits. Those cars are:
- 1985 Porsche #185 959 Prodrive Rally Raid
- 2016 Honda Civic Coupe GRC
- 1991 GYMKHANA 10 Ford Escort Cosworth Group A
- 2018 Can-Am Maverick X RS Turbo R
- 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio
But then sitting in place as a complement pack to that off-road lark comes the British Sports Cars Car Pack. A bit of a mouthful in terms of naming rights, this is a cheaper option – £5.79 or £5.21 if you have Game Pass – but will let you get all giddy at the prospect of grabbing the wheel of some of the most famous, most iconic cars. Don’t expect any proper supercar pace, but if you’re looking for some good old honest British racing pedigree, the following will sort you out…
- 1938 MG TA Midget
- 1962 Triumph TR3B
- 1970 Triumph TR6 PI
- 2018 Aston Martin Vantage
- 2018 TVR Griffith
- 2004 Vauxhall VX220 Turbo
As always in order to enjoy these vehicles you’ll need the base game of Forza Horizon 4 to hand, but as hinted at at the top of this piece, if you’re a petrolhead then chances are you’ve already had tons of fun with the best racer around. From there though, the Xbox Store will sort you out with a download – although those with purchases of the Forza Horizon 4 Car pass or the Ultimate Add-ons bundle will find the vehicles automagically arriving in their garage. You’ve also got an option to purchase each car individually too.
