Sold as a ‘modern tactical RPG inspired by the classics’, it’s fair to say that Tenderfoot Tactics is likely to appeal massively to a certain type of gamer. That should be especially true now that it is on Xbox.
Previously limited to the PC world, Tenderfoot Tactics steps out onto Xbox, playable across both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It’s fully optimised for Xbox Series X|S but also comes with Xbox Play Anywhere support in tow. That means you can take your game from Xbox to PC and back again, without fear of losing progress.
A super stylish tactical affair
Priced at £12.49 from the Xbox Store, Tenderfoot Tactics looks to be a stylish tactics game with much about it. Taking inspiration from the genre classics, it merges in some new, much more modern ideas for good measure. With a novel combat system in play and the opportunity to use elements of the battlefield to your advantage, you can be sure that your actions will play a huge role in any form of success.
But there’s much, much more to Tenderfoot Tactics than just that. There’s the Fog for one, ancient ruins for another, and the most lush of worlds to frequent. Honestly, just take a look at the screenshots of trailer and you’ll see how glorious this one is.
The only thing left is to ensure safe navigation for your band of intrepid adventurers. Can you make it through Tenderfoot Tactics on Xbox unscathed? We’d guess not – but you’ll have a damn good time trying.
