Little Kitty Big City is on Game Pass, Xbox, Switch and PC

Cats are big business in gaming terms, whether that be due to the adventures of Stray or as feline love takes hold. We’re not sure there’s ever been a cat-themed game quite like Little Kitty, Big City as it releases on Game Pass, Xbox, Switch and PC though.

Game Pass Day One adventuring

Little Kitty, Big City is one of our most hotly anticipated new Xbox games of the week – and May 2024 as a whole, in fact – as Double Dagger Studio looks to deliver a feline-themed take on something like Untitled Goose Game. Yep, this is far removed from the adventures of Stray, instead allowing you to wander through a mini open-world adventure, getting up to whatever you fancy.

No good and the look to chaos, will probably be your plans, but in Little Kitty, Big City you can, if you so wish, wander the Japanese-inspired streets with hope of making it home. But that’s just a guideline and really in Little Kitty, Big City you can do what you want, when you want to do it.

Of course, quests and objectives may lead you on the straight and narrow, but if you wish to ignore those…

Key features

  • Explore the city at your own pace in an open-world playground filled with surprises!
  • Make friends with a colorful cast of chatty animals.
  • Complete quests, help your animal friends, or cause a total ruckus. It’s up to you.
  • Customize your Kitty with a plethora of very adorable hats!
  • Take a nap in the sunshine.
  • Find a way home…?

And yes, you’re ready that right – you can stick cute little hats on your kitty friend.

Play now!

With Little Kitty, Big City debuting Day One on Game Pass, there’s very little reason to sleep on this one. Of course, if you don’t have a Game Pass subscription, then paying up the required cash will allow you access – it’s on the Xbox Store for £20.99, playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Fully optimised for Series consoles, there’s also Xbox Play Anywhere support in house, so you can move from console to PC and back again if you like.

You’ll also find Little Kitty, Big City on Nintendo Switch and Steam

Little Kitty, Big City Description

Will you make your way home or will you explore what the big city has to offer first? I mean, getting home is obviously your main priority. Obviously. Well, it’s one of your priorities. Maybe more of a guideline… It’s definitely on your To-Do list somewhere! But first? Exploration!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
