TRUDOGRAD on Xbox – a new Atom RPG tale

When Atom RPG released on Xbox back in 2021, we found it to be a brutal but rewarding RPG; a game that came with a surprising amount of depth. Today a standalone expansion follows that game. Are you ready to head into TRUDOGRAD?

TRUDOGRAD expands the Atom RPG universe

TRUDOGRAD has previously been available on PC and mobile, but now releases on Xbox to build out the Atom RPG universe a little more. It follows on from what was present in that original game to deliver extra narrative and tens of hours of gameplay.

Priced at £19.24, with further DLC ready to be chucked on from there too, TRUDOGRAD whisks you off to a post-apocalyptic metropolis; a land that held firm during nuclear obliteration. Your task is to head through the wastelands, fighting back against any evil menace that may pop out its head.

If you are at all familiar with Atom RPG, you’ll know what to expect here. And whilst we’re not 100% certain you should have played that original game first, it probably makes sense to do so. Seeing as we gave Atom RPG a 4/5 review in 2021, Atom RPG is well worth checking out.

Key features

Head into TRUDOGRAD from there and you’ll find a ton of new content and ideas. The key features list is vast, with big numbers jumping out whichever way you look – 40+ hours of gameplay, 45+ new locations, 200+ quests, 300+ characters, 100+ weapon bits and more.

The list to sell a purchase of TRUDOGRAD is as follows…

  • Explore a vast open world, containing 40+ hours of gameplay and 45+ populated locations, from a snowy post apocalyptic megapolis and its outskirts to secret Soviet military bunkers, a large pirate tanker in the frozen sea and a mysterious island, among many more;
  • Visit 30+ combat-only locations where you will get to fight tens of foe varieties from mercenaries to merciless mutants;
  • Meet 300+ characters, each with a unique portrait and branching dialogue;
  • Complete 200+ quests, most with multiple solutions and outcomes;
  • Try out our fully voiced visual text quests with branching plots and unique hand made artwork;
  • Arm yourself with 100+ models of distinct weaponry with 75+ weapon mods for further customization;
  • Protect yourself using any of the 3 unique powered Soviet-style exoskeleton armor suits, with 20+ ways to customize and modify them for any playstyle;

Buy TRUDOGRAD on Xbox now

You’ll find TRUDOGRAD on the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. And remember, this may be an expansion to Atom RPG, but it’s completely standalone so you should be good to go.

Further are a couple of DLC packs too. The TG War Supply Pack for £5.79 adds in a shooting knife, portable press, ATOM uniform, a Red Dawn colour set and the new Crashed Plane location. There’s also the TG Supporter Pack for the same price. This gives access to even more new gear – a winter suit, flare gun, thermos, backpack, ATOM Fury armor and the Airdrop Site location.

If you like what you find in TRUDOGRAD, you should probably check out those extras too.,

TRUDOGRAD on Xbox Description

Trudograd is a stand-alone story expansion to ATOM RPG. 22 years ago the USSR and the Western Bloc destroyed each other in a nuclear inferno. Millions died instantly, society collapsed and technology was sent back into the Middle Ages. You are a member of ATOM – an organization tasked with protecting the post-apocalyptic remnants of humanity. Two years ago you – a rookie agent of ATOM – were sent on a dangerous mission into the Soviet Wastes. As a result, you uncovered certain information about a new threat that can potentially destroy the struggling remnants of humanity. In ATOM RPG: Trudograd your goal is to travel to a giant post-apocalyptic metropolis that withstood the tests of nuclear obliteration and social collapse. There you must find what is thought to be humanity’s last hope in fending off the menace from outer space!
