2026's Best Games

It doesn’t matter if you’ve missed the last seven days of Xbox news and reviews because we’ve got the best of it right here so make yourself comfy to get caught up.

Where should we begin? Well, probably with the will we or won’t we see the FIFA 14 World Cup update fiasco that dominated the past couple of days. The free update was meant to add a kick off mode for all 32 teams from the World Cup and an especially themed ultimate team mode. Sadly it didn’t make it on time for the specified launch but it did eventually arrive, better late than never.

EA Sports UFC is picking up pace now as the release date approaches; we’ve already seen the full roster and they’ve recently announced a demo. The UFC demo will be out on the Xbox One on June 3rd, so anyone who is still a little unsure about whether to purchase it can have a little hands-on experience.

There were quite a few new titles released or given release dates in this past week but none stood out quite as much as Quantum Break. According to the trailer it’ll be coming in 2015 and promises to deliver a unique entertainment experience as it attempts to blend a video game with a television show.

What else did we see?

We had already reviewed Max – The Curse of Brotherhood on Xbox One at the end of last year but our Neil gave it a go on 360. It follows the story of Max in a bid to rescue his annoying little brother from the grasp of the evil Mustacho. Without giving too much away, Neil was impressed so have a read to find out why.

And finally… how would you like to win your own copy of Xbox One game Watch Dogs? It’s really easy just watch the video below and follow the instructions displayed to make sure you entered into the prize draw. Check out our official rules page to clear up any queries you may have. Good luck to all taking part.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
