It’s strangely been a quiet week for Xbox news over the last seven days, with very little to get us too excited about. We have however managed to pick out our favourite five articles from the last seven days…the articles we think you shouldn’t miss!
It’s the middle of September and summer feels like it’s long gone. The Xbox Summer Spotlight however has only just finished.
Bringing a ton of new digital games to the Xbox One library, August was filled to the brim with great new games, good new games and well, crap new games. We took a look over all of them, giving our opinion as to why you should be buying the likes of Velocity 2X and Toy Soldiers War Chest, all whilst ensuring that you don’t waste your money on Bridge Constructor!
The Destiny universe is expanding with The Taken King, the first major expansion to one of the biggest games of the year.
The live action trailer below, directed by Joseph Kosinski of Oblivion and TRON: Legacy fame features a Fireteam of Guardians, on their way to take on the King Oryx and accompanied by their ‘Ghost’ companion.
The inclusion of ‘Black Dog’ by Led Zeppelin just rounds things off nicely.
There is no debating that Forza Motorsport 6 will be high on the shopping lists of many an Xbox One gamer. After gathering a massive following over the last ten years, we thought it would be good to see how things play out for one of those who haven’t got themselves completely worked up with the release of the latest racer, but instead one who freely admits to not being a fan.

Damn right it does as Turn 10 have taken everything they’ve learnt over a decade of dominance and turned it into a wonderful racing experience; one filled with night time racing and stunning rain affected events.

It was teased a while back, but the new faster, more social, more beautiful Xbox One experience is coming.
With the news that the rollout of the new dash will be making its way to Preview members shortly, before going live for all in November, the bosses back at Xbox HQ, thought it would be nice to give us a little look at how things will work.
It’s something that excites us immensely and we’ll happily be first in the queue for the new Xbox One interface. It’s looking stunning.
