There’s already been one sequel from Artifex Mundi, in the form of The Siren’s Call, and now the trilogy is coming to a close with Nightmares from the Deep 3: Davy Jones. Sword Art Online is an incredibly popular anime and manga series which has spawned a fair few video game adaptations already. Unlike the wonderful virtual reality MMORPG gaming worlds featured in the franchise, none of the games have been created for that specific genre and indeed the latest iteration continues that trend. Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet melds together action-RPG elements with those of a shooter, in a third person perspective. Given that it’s the first SAO game to launch on the Xbox consoles, the expectations are high for the adventures of Kirito and co., but could it prove to be a fatal misfire for seasoned developers Dimps, or can their newest offering hit the target?

The phenomenon that is Rocket League has barely shown signs of waning since its debut on console and PC. Since then, Psyonix have managed to secure partnerships for licensing customisation items and vehicles from other popular mediums, capitalising on the recent Ricky & Morty fad with items randomly dropping for players and having the infamous DeLorean available for purchase. Now though, the developers have successfully sought licensing for a large haul of DC universe themed offerings from Warner Bros. and the DC Super Heroes DLC Pack has arrived at a relatively cheap price. Is that because it’s a load of tat, or is it in fact a bargain for comic book enthusiasts wanting to show off their allegiances?

It’s effectively the pre-season for Super Mega Baseball 2 and in this period the developers Metalhead Software want you to get a taste of this sequel ahead of its full release. Will you be swinging by for the opportunity to have a bat?
