There are games leaving the Game Pass service today

Ah, the joys of a Game Pass subscription and the chase to completion before the mid-month removal of games. Today we see 4 games shift out of the Game Pass service – if you haven’t played them yet, and grabbed the Gamerscore on offer, you’ll want to be quick.

Game Pass is a cracking subscription service, providing access to hundreds of great Xbox and PC games, all for one low monthly price. A constantly revolving, ever-changing library of games, as the weeks pass, those games get mixed up, new ones added, older ones taken away.

It’s where we are today, as 4 games are ripped out of Game Pass. They are games you’ll want to play too – with our reviews rating them extremely highly. And of course, those games come complete with a host of Gamerscore and Xbox achievements as well. If you’ve got a few hours spare, we’d urge you to get on it before the following all leave Game Pass today. Maybe you won’t complete them, but you’ll at least be experiencing some of the best games on Xbox.

Garden Story

Wholesome, narrative driven, garden farming. What more do you want in life?

It’s that which you are getting in Garden Story. A game that debuted Day One on the Game Pass service back in 2022, you have most certainly had plenty of time to get playing this one. If not, well, we’re not sure you’ll be saving The Grove today, but with a £16.74 price tag over at the Xbox Store, it’s not going to break the bank too much if you wish to play after it is gone from Game Pass.

You should be playing too. Whilst not in the same category of quality as some other games in the genre, Garden Story is still worthy of your time.

“Garden Story introduces itself as something of a Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing, but can’t possibly compete: its systems are too shallow, and its plumped for some combat when it might have been better without. But if you’re a fan of those games, and the idea of a contained, completable campaign with barely a bramble to snag yourself on appeals, then Garden Story will be an appealing companion for a dozen hours or so.”

MotoGP 22

Leathers, check. Lid, check. Balls of steel, check. If you’re a lover of two-wheeled racing, then we’d suspect you’d have already been all over the bikes of MotoGP 22. If not, well, time is fast running out to get involved – unless you want to open the wallet and splash some cash.

Yep, MotoGP 22 is 5/5 review score rated, right up there as one of the finest motorcycle racing games on the market. In fact, it’s not just one for the veterans of the track either, happily easing newcomers into the finer intricacies of the racing life.

“If you’re a fan of the sport, MotoGP 22 is a brilliant entry in the series that does everything you would expect it to and a bit more. If you’re hoping to get into motorcycle racing, it’s a superb entry point and as we’re in the early stages of what looks to be another thrilling season, there’s no better time than now to get involved.”

Persona 4 Golden

Yeah okay, perhaps you won’t be completing Persona 4 Golden in the few hours that are left before it is removed from Game Pass. But what harm will it do to give it a play right now. Chuck a couple of hours of playtime in and then go and purchase the game, yeah?

We’re pretty sure that purchase will be forthcoming as soon as you’ve experienced what Persona 4 Golden has to offer too. A game that landed on Game Pass at the very start of 2023, we called Persona 4 Golden an absolute triumph in review. In fact, we went further than that and chucked a big 5/5 review score onto it.

Means it’s a must-player, no?

“All in all, Persona 4 Golden is an absolute triumph; very much golden. It isn’t quite as good as Persona 5 Royal, but the difference is like a hair’s breadth. There’s a great story, tons of content to get involved in and some superb combat and exploration opportunities.”

Persona 3 Portable

What’s that? ANOTHER Persona game that is leaving Game Pass today? Can we have some more hours in the day, please?

Similar to the game that precedes it in this list, Persona 3 Portable was another massive hit when it first launched on Game Pass. Perhaps not quite as decent as 4 Golden. It still managed to cement a place on our 4.5/5 review score list. Mostly the visuals let Persona 3 Portable down (especially when compared to the newer Persona 5 Royal). But give it a chance and you’ll discover a game with deep combat, plenty of juggling of links and more.

“The deep combat and Persona systems, as well as the juggling of social links to make yourself stronger are all a lot of fun, and there should be no hesitation in recommending Persona 3 Portable to any fans of the RPG genre.”

New games are coming to Game Pass

Whilst mid-month is always a big hit to take in terms of the games leaving Game Pass, we do at least have more to look forward to. In fact, in the next 24 hours there are a couple of games getting adding to Game Pass. Ready to welcome in Resident Evil 2 and Those Who Remain?
