Ratalaika Games are back, and this time they want you to prove yourself as the high school football hero as Football Game releases on Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita and Nintendo Switch.

Football Game is the latest Ratalaika Games port to make its way over to modern consoles, with a launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PS Vita today – followed by a Nintendo Switch launch on the 8th November – providing the opportunity for gamers to head to the small town of East Bend in the US of A. From there, you should expect a night to remember… just possibly for not the right reasons.

Football Game comes complete with a measly £4.99 price attached to its download and should you be willing to visit the Xbox Store to get in on the action will discover a tale that follows Tommy, the local school football hero who is attempting to woo his sweetheart. With inspiration coming direct from the classic point and clickers form the late 1980s and early 1990s, not everything will be as it seems in Football Game, as you attempt to solve puzzles and interact with objects to help Tommy fulfil his dreams.

Features include:

  • * Traditional point and click adventure game aesthetic with puzzles and dialogue interactions.
  • * Meet a cast of characters including friends, foes, teachers, and a concerned mother.
  • * An award-winning OST by UK duo JUPITER-C.

Tempted by yet another cheap Ratalaika Games title? You can get full access to Football Game right this very minute by heading to the Xbox Store, the PlayStation Store, or the Nintendo eShop. If you fancy yourself as a bit of a football hero then you shouldn’t miss it. Keep an eye out for our review too.

Game Description:

Tommy is the local high school football hero in the small town of East Bend, USA. It’s game night for the Purchase County Turbines and his sweetheart is waiting in the bleachers. However, something is amiss… Inspired by classic 80s and 90s point and click adventures, get ready for a night you won’t forget in this twisted Lynchian thriller. Navigate and explore the environment by interacting with objects, and inspecting them to solve puzzles in order to help Tommy find his sweetheart.
