Dare to drop in to Maze Blaze and you’ll discover a labyrinth of danger, one full of traps, hostiles and powerful bosses. Reckon you can make it through?

Available today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam and Epic), Nintendo Switch and both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Maze Blaze from Revulo Games will drop you into a series of randomly generated mazes and levels, leaving you to blast your way through, looking for success.

As you’d expect, these mazes will be chock full of danger. There will be traps. There will be hostile foes. There will be bosses more powerful than you would ever care to remember. But occasionally, just occasionally, you’ll find Maze Blaze helping you out, pushing new corridors and pathways your way.

Exploration is going to be key with this one, as you hunt out and use the most useful of items and power-ups, working with an arsenal that is plentiful; bouncing bullets, grenades, blasters, medkits, shields and more will all be ready for use.

Maze Blaze promises to be a bit of a sensory overload, with visuals and audio blasting with your every more. Oh, and there will be hardcore levels to ‘enjoy’ too. Any challenges, events and more.

Playable either alone or in local cooperative mode, expect to find the key features of Maze Blaze sitting as follows…

  • randomly generated mazes / levels
  • environment affecting gameplay
  • unique loot such as weapons and items
  • unlockable skills / perks changing the way to play
  • different play modes such as hardcore, time challenges, and events
  • to play in single-player, and multiplayer (local co-op) for 2 players

You’ll find Maze Blaze from your local digital store for around £8.39, our favourite being the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It’s on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and PC (Steam) too.

Keep an eye out for our full review of Maze Blaze. It’s coming real soon.

Game Description:

Shoot and blast your way through alien-infested mazes in Maze Blaze, a roguelike action shooter that’s intense both in color and gameplay. The goal is simple – enter the maze and gun down anything that stands between you and the exit. Your objective may always be the same but everything else is endlessly changing. Each maze is a procedurally generated level where the enemies, items, and the maze’s layout itself is random. Not a single corner you turn will be the same as the last time you entered. Progressively tougher alien foes will try to take you out once you enter their proximity so you better be ready to shoot first and ask questions later. Modifiers scattered around each maze will augment your abilities and shots. Each pick-up presents a unique choice that’ll define your play style. Simplicity is at the heart of Maze Blaze. It’s easy to jump into yet has enough depth to keep you playing. You can kick back in a long gaming session or just clear a couple of mazes when you’ve got a bit of downtime. No matter how you choose to play, you’ll always make progress. The more mazes you blast through, the more stuff you unlock. Mix and match your newly acquired powers and weapons to dive even further into the different game modes.
