Some of Cartoon Network’s biggest stars are coming to consoles and 3DS for a bit of light-hearted side-scrolling action in Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers.
Join all your favourites such as: Â Uncle Grandpa, Finn & Jake from Adventure Time, Rigby & Mordecai from Regular Show, Clarence, Gumball from The Amazing World of Gumball, and Steven of Steven Universe. Each of the playable characters has a unique ability and characters can be switched between instantly during solo play; this is useful due to the fact that certain enemies may only be defeated by a specific ability.
There’ll be special stages, boss battles and character progression/customisation throughout the story, which kicks off after Uncle Grandpa creates a tear in the universe. The heroes of other Cartoon Network shows are brought together when he accidently presses the multidimensional switch on his RV. A standard mistake eh?
Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers, a collaboration by GameMill Entertainment and Cartoon Network, is expected to be in stores, both retail and digitally, November 2016 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo 3DS. Local co-operative play is exclusive to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
