Chain those headshots with Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2

There are times when all you want to do is lay low, look down the sights and chain together a string of the finest headshots. And when those times call, it’s games like Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 that delivers.

Available to purchase and download right now, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 will whisk you off to the Middle East as you engage in some serious long-range shooting. Following on from the first game – Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts – Contracts 2 has been overhauled by the development team to ensure that ultimate immersion is had. This has seen them adjust both maps and missions, with at least 3 of the 5 available arenas designed for nothing but the very finest long range sniping moments.

A full single player campaign is the meat and drink of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, whilst a further couple of scenarios will keep those more familiar with other Contracts games in the loop. With the key features focusing on next-level realism, upgraded visuals and some sandbox styled gameplay, there’s immediately much to love about what CI Games have created.

1000m+ shots are going to be par for the course, as players take on the role of Raven, a contract sniper assassin who is found operating in the lawless region between the Lebanese and Syrian borders. It’s here where you come in and with a seemingly impossible mission to take on, you’ll be left to help Raven take down the criminal syndicates and bring them to justice.

High levels of replayability crop up thanks to the various ways Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 can be tackled, whilst skill trees and a range of different sniping rifles will mix up the options even further. Throw in some gadgets – literally as frag nades pop up – and the chance to work your own loadouts, and things get more interesting still.

If you’re one of those sharpshooters who just can’t be done with the run and gun aspects that many games thrive on, and find that kicking back in a bush, holding a steady hand and calibrating what is required for the perfect headshot is much more satisfying, you’ll want to get in on the Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 action.

You’ll find the game available from the usual digital stores, with release on Xbox, PlayStation and PC. It’s the Xbox Store we are most interested in and that will provide a couple of options – the Standard Edition of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 for £34.99, and the Deluxe Arsenal Edition for a tenner more. It’s that latter version that adds in Abstract Assassin, Graffiti Glow, Blue Servers and Tactical Tracker Weapons packs, whilst the Lock n’ Load Weapons Pack is also included (and also available for £5.79 if you wish).

We’re currently mid-shot on our full review of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 on Xbox Series X|S. We’ll let you know how that fully optimised version plays out in the days ahead.

Game Description:

SGW Contracts 2 is a tactical, modern warfare shooter set in the Middle East. The most challenging entry to the series yet, with extreme-range shots exceeding 1000m, there’s no better way to prepare for its dramatic campaign than with the Deluxe Arsenal Edition.
